Neutral Safety switch adjustment

Lately my neutral safety switch in my gear shift lever assembly has been acting up.  In order to start the engine I would have to pull the shift lever towards the steering column as I turned the key in order for the starter to engage.  Taking it apart tonight I was able to loosen the two screws holding the contact block in place and adjust it forward.  This seems to have solved the problem.
